Lindsay Final Post

The piece that has influenced the idea for my final project is "The Warp and Weft of Memory" by Renee Turner. Maddy presented this work to the class and I thought it was really cool, especially since I am very into clothes and thrifting treasures (might be surprising since I show up to class in sweatpants everyday lol). I liked the idea of a virtual closet entwined with memories.

I plan on using a website creator like Readymag or Cargo to make a virtual closet of the important pieces in my closet that hold meaning to me. I hope to also incorporate aspect of feminism and womanhood into my final piece since I feel like clothes are very essential to the experience of being a woman. Don't wear this. Wear that, etc. I hope to make this a work of interactive nonfiction, a sort of memoir of my life through clothes.
